Care of the Product

• When not using your Duo-Therm sheets, store them in an open plastic bag or container in a cupboard or freezer. They are virtually maintenance free, but can be immersed under the water every so often to maintain or regain hydration.
• When you have finished using Duo-Therm, simply clean with mild soap and water and place back into freezer for next use.
• When using Duo-Therm in contact with meat, fish or liquids put the sheets inside a plastic bag to avoid absorption of liquids or odours from the food.
• When hydrating the sheets you need to change the water after approximately six sheets as you may experience a slippery effect.

• There are some situations that may cause Duo-Therm sheets to sweat, one is when dried soap residue is in the sink during the hydration process and this can create a slippery feel to the sheet. In this case clean your sink and put the Duo-Therm sheet  back in fresh water. Then dry thoroughly and put back into the freezer or into the microwave if required.
• A second situation is when the Duo-Therm sheets  are left in an air tight box/cooler for more than 24 hours and they have reached room Temperature.  This may cause the sheet to sweat and the same process as described above will need to be carried out.
