Freezing
Place the hydrated sheet into a domestic or commercial freezer, ensuring it is carefully dried on the outside before placing it in the freezer. Duo-Therm can be used very successfully when frozen in domestic household freezers. It will freeze between minus 18C and minus 21C when the freezer is adjusted to the maximum setting.
Duo-Therm utilises revolutionary technology which results in the product being able to be frozen to -190 C which is more than twice as cold as dry ice! Duo-Therm reusable ice packs can be frozen in blast freezers to -80 C when used in dry ice applications. Duo-Therm ice packs should be frozen for at least 24 hours at the coldest setting and for best results should be frozen for 3-4 days as it drops 5 degrees per day until it reaches your freezer temperature. .
