Hydration
Immerse the product preferably in warm water as hydration will be faster
Whilst immersed scrunch the sheets between your hands for a few minutes to release air bubbles and until the squares have expanded to approximately 2cm in width. The sheet should be completely submerged during the entire process and allow the sheet to unfold to complete absorption of water. Massage any cells which have not fully expanded.
Leave the product in water for around an hour for the first four times it is used to eliminate any un-hydrated polymers on the surface of the product. If this is not done you may notice a slippery film on the surface of the product.
Dry the product thoroughly to ensure that any excess water does not become ice during the freezing process. Your Duo-Therm flexible pack is now ready to freeze or heat.
